The book you love

I want to be the book you read again and again

From cover to cover

From beginning to end

Sometimes in between the pages…

 

Turning each of my page with love and affection

With an urgency and passion

To know every bit of me in words and stanzas

To know more about the lines which is yet unwritten

To be read again and again until you know all the  lines

Even when you close your eyes..you know it by heart

The emotions which would keep you awaken at nights

In my thoughts ,wondering what is to come next

 

I want to be your favorite book.

Which always remain close to your heart and

Which will revive your soul

 

I want to be that book..

The book which would have the essence of your life

That you would never want to forget.

 

I want to be that book which you would find solace

In your troubled times..

I want to be the book you love!

Wow Ria, this is so romantic. Giving oneself so fully is such a risk but the payoff is equally high if it works out.
The font is a lovely shade of maroon too, I notice ;P

yes..the risk is high... but i belive when you love you need to let your self go.. if u hold back then its not love.... isnt it ..your thoughts on the same?

I did give my all and got burned badly. I think it's too risky. The odds of meeting 'the one' are too great - more chance of winning the lottery haha (and that is called a 'tax on the stupid') lol

Well, Ria;
A nice little poem. I like the sentiment, but it does nee a bit of a tweak. Maybe cut back a bit on the redundancies.
e.g.
I want to be the book you read again and again
From cover to cover
From beginning to end
Sometimes in between the pages…

Nice, but since there are three different phrases basically saying the same thing, perhaps one could go.
Maybe

I want to be the book
you read, cover to cover,
beginning to end.

Read the poem out loud. Then; remove the emotion and pare it down to its simplest parts. Read it again.
The hardest task is to change a line you've put a lot of heart into, but sometimes it is necessary. Set it aside for a couple of days and come back to it later. Rewrites are not fun, but more often than not, they produce better poems.

i got it..i will read it out ... yes the poems i write when i feel the flow of it.. editing would be difficult part.. hope i will get a hang of it :) thanks for your effort and tips to help with my poems
