A penny for your thoughts and your conscience.

What would give for the key to your mind.

Gather everything thats ever left you troubled

I'd take them all away and make them mine.

 

The wind seems to always blow against you

It whispers threats from every single side.

It's worse when you do on your own dear

To yourself you're not very kind.

 

You only break whats already broken

Still, you're the bravest I will ever know.

A penny for your good heart and your courage

Look in the mirror, it'll show.
