My Loud Heart

My Loud Heart

A Poem by Lumière Déclinante
"

Young love through shadows...

"

His shadow was behind me

I  could not turn around.

Just the thought of seeing his face

Made my loud heart pound.

His shadow was beside me

Silhouette of his body next to mine.

I could feel his breath upon my cheek

Sending shivers down my spine.

His shadow leaned in closer

And stayed just like that, posed.

Suddenly our lips were touching

But by then my eyes were closed.

About
Hi :) My real name is Anna, an Irish person would hardly have the name Lumière Déclinante. In my defence, it seemed like a good idea at the time. I sort of do that a lot. Start things t.. more..
