Reason and MadnessA Poem by Lumière DéclinanteReason and Madness went for a walk in the dark, Searching for meaning, for light. Feeling along jagged walls, rough floorboards, Not knowing their lefts from their rights.
"Madness" said Reason "we cannot give up. I no we'll find the exit soon." And this is how they spent many years. Lost, searching in this dark room.
Until one day, Madness gave in with a sigh and said "Reason, this searching is wrong. Why bother looking for a doorway to light When this candles been burning all along?" © 2012 Lumière DéclinanteAuthor's Note
