Battle of Two Queens

Battle of Two Queens

A Poem by Norma M Sutton
"

What takes place when a new diva goat comes to the farm

"

A battle cry was issued
New queen faces the old
Dancing steps and bobbing heads
Are how the story unfolds

Old white gal is the queen
Young new will respect her reign
Young and speckled is bound and sure
Her battle record unstained

Brave is their battle dance
Head's push and teeth bite
Under the summer sun
Until comes the end of the fight

Old queen is queen anew
Head held high she's won
One battle or a few
Under the summer sun

This was FABULOUS! I loved it, video and all! Incidently, LOVE that music...made me want to high step a bit! I wish men could learn to solve their differences so proudly and bravely but...NO! we must blow up half a country! Wonderful...thank you so much for sharing this!

A very good poem and video. The life of animals is very interesting. They play king of the mountain and things seem to be OK for a time. A excellent poem. You can always tell a good story. Thank you.
