Some days.

Some days.

A Poem by thoughtfuldreamer

Some days we wait.
We just wait.
Often not even knowing
What we're waiting for
It's as if time stands still.
The day keeps going
Eventually turning into night
But that stillness, inside remains
As we wait
Sometimes patiently
Other times unsettled
Always waiting
Always breathing
Sometimes we wait for hope
Other times we wait with it
And still we wait
Sometimes awake
Other times asleep
Sometimes aware
Other times...
Too busy to care
And life keeps on going
Yet, we wait,
And wait,
And wait.
