Life Support

Life Support

A Poem by teenagekween
"

when the pressures gets too much

"

Life like you're on lifesupport

Pressure you don't want to feel

But the money and the expectations keep rolling in

They claim that there is a bright light ahead

But i can't see it

Who am i to take the leap?

I will shut myself out

Take control of this body

Do anything you want with it

Harbour false hopes and heavy hearts

Just as long as you fund me with broken dreams

To keep my silence deafening

All i'll tell you is,

"Why the the charger...?

when the battery is dead."

Wow. That is all that I can really say. This is an excellent poem with a great point. I love the topic. Nicely done.
