Outsider

I am an outsider,
Staring at the inside,
Longing to be one of them,
Striving to fit in.

I am lost on my own
With nowhere to go,
With nothing to see,
With no one beside me.

Oh! how I long to fit in
How I wish to be on the inside,
Yet I sit sad and alone,
On the outside,
On my own.

Fitting in - something which a lot of people WANT to do. But the question is, do you really NEED to? I have never followed the crowd, always been different and i am proud of who i am - always following my own path and never looking back. The question is - love yourself and be you and then maybe these people will want to fit in with you.

I know its not a review but i thought i would just pit my own thoughts on here about this good piece of work.
