That's Her

That's Her

A Poem by Talia Renee

Awkward and annoying

With that adorable badger face

She slaves and slaves and slaves away

At Rockefeller Place.

Her life is her work

It is her greatest lover

It gets more attention than any man

That dares to hover.

Her best friends are a blonde actress

And Alec Baldwin, in a suit,

And all the people who work hard

To make sure her show can shoot.

She lacks in self confidence

She lacks in physical pride

But wit and intellect

Are always on her side.

She's dated a loser, a doctor,

Floyd and an airman.

She's none other than 30 Rock's

Very own Liz Lemon.

This was interesting. I liked the rhyme scheme. Made this easier to read and very fun. Great job.

Oh, wow, what an interesting character to do a poem on. I love how witty it is, and you really tell the reader about Liz. Great work!
