Mindless Rambling..

Mindless Rambling..

A Poem by Tamme

Warm wind passes through the trees
And chills my heart
An odd October day,
No specific meaning,
Goes on.

Music plays carelessly.
Sends echoes through my mind,
Accompanying the ticking clock,
One second at a time.

Random thoughts...
Bounce off one another
Tears and laughter become one,
A moment's contentment.

Memories begin to whisper,
Trading secrets,
Sometimes they sing,
While others scream,
Come now together.

Spirits fly...
Through this empty space.
I have seen them.
As I have seen the air
 Between you and me.
I have seen your mind
And it's not so clear.

Nothing ever really goes away.
It always finds a place to live.
Somewhere...
There's always a garden in bloom,
 A fragrance in the air
Or a baby crying in the night.

No one ever sees.

Things given away
Always kept somewhere
Open your head
Let the dream go
It will always be there
I can always return

A very accurate evokation of a universal feeling. I wonder why this poem hasn't been reviewed before. It's so familiar to me, I can relate to it. A wonderful account of thoughts ranting through your mind as the day passes by.

Something I have learned and you should know: It's not always all about me. I don't take everything so seriously, but don't take me as shallow. more..
