Give Me Minute

Give Me Minute

A Poem by Tamme

The way you chew

How can I give you a clue?

Maybe it's your cough

That has me about to go off.

You left up the seat

I realized after my cold wet treat.

I don't want a kiss

My a*s was just submerged in piss!

Didn't scrape your dish

Then put away an empty jar of relish.

Boots caked with dirt

Did you just ask what's for dessert?

And you keep talking

I don't care if the pitcher was balking!

You breathe too heavy

Don't you need to work on your old Chevy?

You shouldn't be here

Why don't you go out for a beer?

'Cause all I need

Is time for the stress to recede.

Maybe a bubbly bath

Or a long walk on a quiet wooded path.

I can love you later

Right now I will only create a woman hater

lol.. tamme, no doubt this whimsical-emotional-satrical poem to ponder in light of turmoiling relation-
ships strikes the funny bone, yet also reflects your thoughts in a most delving manner, the idea of
these events happening paints a funny picture of what lovers go through when.. the times get tough,
and walking away is equivalent to throwing water on a fire, when two hearts burn with angst,
sometimes the best thing to do is take time by the hand walk it into solice, I just think the thought
alone-put forth is heart touching because it shows subtle skill with passion, thanks for sharing your talent

Sometimes it really does just seem like one thing piled on all the others sets you off. Great job

It is always interesting to see what is "the straw that broke the camels back". We live lives filled with self added stress and get to a point we need a release and unfortunately we take it out on the one's we love. I loved this and your playful flow. It was a lighthearted poke at a serious matter. Truly enjoyed it.

Great Job!!!!!!
