Still fresh on our minds

Our baby, we want to wrap our arms

Around you so tight

And never let go

Through the day

Through the night,

You suffered and it's hard

For us to live with that

We were not there

When it was your time to part,

You should have been with

Your Mom, your Dad

And we are so apologetic

For our foolishness

And still very sad,

Unfortunately we can not

Make up for that

Why did we do such wrong

It was not fair to you

But we were well informed

That even though you suffered

Your spirit remained strong,

That's the Ace we know

You lived up to your name

Number one in our lives

You proved it 

Over and over again

Our lives without you

Shall never be the same,

We will eventually find

Such strength like you had

'Til the very end

Because we will embrace

All those happy memories

Instead of all the sad.
