My Baby

My Baby

A Poem by Tarry Franck

Where did you go
Lost among the heavens
Why did it have to be so,
We searched and searched
And you were nowhere to be found
Lost forever
To what
What had you bound,
Were you ever created
Within my womb
Did we miss something
Was that your tomb,
How I wanted to hold you
In my arms like an angel
So delicately
I wanted you
Boy or girl
I wanted my baby,
I'll never know why
A mother I could not be
I tried for years
But my womb was not healthy,
Years of pain, I suffered
Praying you would come to me
But that did not come to be,
I feel an emptiness at times
Like you were taken from me
Before I could even have you
Maybe it was because I didn't deserve you
Whatever the cause
I will always love you.

I know this was probably a tough one for you to write so true to your life and so real to the person who you are but this is beautiful... You are an amazing person and one with a amazing loving heart and i see it ever time i am around you.. You have so much love to give and you give it with out any judgment of any kind and a love that i have seen since i have known you and gotten so dramatically close to you is something that i also see in this piece ... This is a beautiful piece

So emotional I could feel your loss despite the fact that I've never lost s child my heart goes out to mothers and fathers who've wanted children yet for some reason unknown to us can never be. How you all are blessed to have handled your grief so well. It must be hard to lose a child no matter what age, whether in pregnancy, infancy, or later in life
