Moving On

Moving On

A Poem by Tarry Franck

I once had a lover
That embraced me
Beneath warm covers,
Where he resides
I no longer know
What I do know is he's no longer by my side,
He's no longer my lover
So I assume
He's with another,
My nights are lonely but I stay strong
No rest for the weary
Time to move on.

Great motivation and keep going on...because one day he'll know the worth of youse if he was wrong.
nice piece of write, you jotted what your heart got and what life gave you with pain.but don;t you forget...everything happens for a reason..so, you're going right.don't stop, life' has no limit...break youse limits and get the way to live.

A very nice poem. Sometime faces appear. I would love to have a cup of coffee and a conversation with a old lover. Would be interesting to see where they landed. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Definitely a relatable concept...the loss of a lover and the musings of what the lover is doing now, without you. I also like the feeling of this one, it read well, save for a few formatting issues. I think that you may do well to put a space between the lines "I no longer know" and "What I do know is he's no longer by my side,"--this area gave me a little trouble in terms of flow. Other than that, well done!

Very good I like the emotions and I like the rhyming pattern you have going here. It's so hard to lose someone that you love.

Thank you dear
hard to forget those old lovers, especially those who left a real and lasting impression on both our hearts and our psyches, but, as you so eloquently state, sometimes you just gotta move on......NEXT!!!!
