Morning Light

Morning Light

A Poem by Tarry Franck

The morning dew
Twinkles with the sunlights rays
Birds chirping all around
With a gentle breeze
And kittens wrestling on the ground,
I take off my shoes
And walk among the dew,
The feel of Mother Nature
Below my feet
Gives me sensations
I thought I would never feel again
For the simple fact
That I've lived a world of sin,
I thought she would reject me
But she welcomed me instead
Now I can live with proper thoughts
Whirling through my head.

who's to say what is beauty and what is a sin? as far as i know, only humans proffer sin upon others. nature is both beautiful and giving. we don't own the earth, she owns us. and if we give her respect we are rewarded tenfold by her beauteous bounty. live as you will live, dear lady, and do not let yourself be judged by your fellow man...believe me, mankind is the least justified critic ....well penned.
