Pledge

I stand in the sand in awe

My feet shift

Beneath the water

As I watch the sunset fall,

I dream of meeting you

On this romantic evening

Maybe that will come to fruition

As I wait patiently

Then the gulls flew,

And I see you come my way

My heart flutters

Like the wings of the gulls

And now we can together watch the suns rays

As they meet the waters edge

Then our love 

For one another we will pledge.
