Bluff

Bluff

A Poem by Tarry Franck

One day I came across you
Then I walked away
And I'm thankful I did it too,
You were the best I had
So I thought
Until you treated me so bad,
When I walked away
I thought it was the last time we would talk
But obviously you weren't finished
With what you had to say,
The letters I receive
It seems you're trying to pull me back
But I can't let you do that
I've shed enough tears,
I've said enough
So please don't write again
You can never fool me
Me, you can no longer bluff.

I like the poem. Had a honest tone to the words. I like the drove and purpose of the poem. Sometime we must stand our ground and walk away. Thank you for sharing your amazing poetry. Always a pleasure to read your words.

I relate to this, I like it. Portrays exactly the situation a lot of people end up in, in short but meaningful lines. Thank you for sharing.
