My Eagle

My Eagle

A Poem by Tarry Franck

Somewhere near a shore

I watch the tide roll in

Gaze into the horizon

And wait for my eagle to fly in,

Beneath his wings

He carries a gift of gold

The never ending breeze

To lift my wings, my soul,

He approaches

With grace, with ease

And after a moment of silence

Our passion feels the breeze,

We travel together

And a tear of happiness

Trickles down my face

I beneath his wings

Forever embraced.

I have been lucky. I was able to see Eagle living and flying free in protected area. Like the poem. You can feel energy and hope by seeing a Eagle fly free and left in peace. The poem description was amazing. Thank you.
