Watering the wallflower garden ( of Eden )

Watering the wallflower garden ( of Eden )

A Poem by terry smith

In the air
a melody of sadness
sung by those that find
warmth & comfort
feeding on
the hand full of knuckles
something only one
who has tasted starvation
can understand
that the whispers
& shadows of attention
is better than the
bitter chill of rejection
remember
you are more
than the picture
people paint
for they cannot see
your soul
