Great White Waterfall

Great White Waterfall

A Poem by Richard Williams
"

Tribute to a waterfall.

"

Like thunder from a thousand horses

your waters cascade there;

such grandeur found in nature's forces

intimidates the air.

With raging fury wrapped in glory

your surging sounds do call;

acclaiming your dynamic story,

a great white waterfall.

Could one imagine such a tower

that nature did construct?

A synergy of falling power

o'er rocky aqueduct!

And jets of lather spewing upward

along your rugged base;

potentiality well averred,

along with rapid grace.

Were you assigned the aeon's niche

for inundation's plan?

Outstretched waters flowing rich

to percolate the land!

And amongst refreshing power,

adroitness to enthrall;

with a steadfast billowing shower

of a great white waterfall.
