Pacific Genesis

Pacific Genesis

A Poem by Richard Williams
"

Energy of light and love.

"

Far off in space so long ago
I am a wave of light;
a touch of cosmic afterglow
illuminates the night.

Heaven's fire fuels emotion,
starlight eternally;
seeded with His warm devotion
stirs time and tide for thee.

Into the heart of what we grow
about the green and blue;
a glory in creative flow
for earth's aquatic zoo.

There I entertain the notion
within salt-water spree,
of a seven sea commotion
with whale and manatee.

Up in the air, within the tow
a stream to jet the sky;
and from the height to far below
love greets the conscious eye.

Energy is like a lotion,
all species can agree;
it can put the rest in motion
or honeycomb the bee.

In time's fine hour, warm winds blow
to fan the heartbeat's flame;
and from His firmament a show
of light to guide the game.

So I fall into the ocean,
and love the deep blue sea;
I have borne life's precious potion--
that ocean speaks to me.
