Chill Room

Chill Room

A Poem by Teela Bryant

Chill Room

The other night we talked
For hours on end
One thing that came up was a room to chill in
Light of color everywhere
Music hidden somewhere
A circular room you have to crawl to
With big cushy pillows
And no way to stand up
A dark room to chill in
With a no alcohol policy
As we went over what the room was like
And how perfect it was that we both had the same idea
I closed my eyes and pictured us
Alone in the chill room
In an intimate embrace
Skin on skin
Lips upon lips
Lips caressing skin
Pure pleasure
Pure delight
Your hands on my hips
As you pull me closer
My mind filled with thoughts
Of what could happen
Would you run your fingers through my hair?
Would you wrap you arms around me?
Would we lay in each others arms afterwards?
Feeling each others heart beat?
All the things that could happen in the room
Between you and me
I will not know
Until the Chill Room exists.
