Lips Sewn Shut

Lips Sewn Shut

A Poem by ((Teenage_Poet_Loser))
"

Speak up, dont be a victim of others leadership.

"

Silence, moments of monotonous sounds of silence,
not a word was said in the absence of life.
Severity of cannibalistic events came to an halt,
the pounding waves of everlasting winds blew.
Fifteen minutes has gone by,
five minutes of silence and a tear,
a tear drop rolled down her cheek.
The murmur of freedom came from the tightly sewn mouth,
a life lived according to rules of hatred,
self-glorification to give pleasure to the hand of her father,
self-proclaimed leader!
Fifteen minutes has gone by,
five minutes of silence and a tear,
a tear drop rolled down her cheek.
Blood gushed from the wounds
and words rolled down the lips,
a freedom taken back from the lifeless.
The smile of pain, images of revulsion,
but a smile, the wounds growing bigger.
Death awaits the lifeless, their lips shut,
sewn closed with their own flesh,
fifteen minutes has gone by,
and only five minutes of silence.

Author's Note

((Teenage_Poet_Loser))
self glorification to give pleasure to the hand of her father, no pun intended, mere a symbol, not sexually meant!

A good read and very insightful. Also could relate to what you expressed in this piece; wanting freedom and to hone individuality. I actually like the symbolism in this piece, too =D
