can only go up

can only go up

A Poem by luna rose

this linoleum is an author

with tendency towards such casual

punctuation.

so undemanding:

not quite

sincere

yet so sure

of where it

ends.

and sure

of its

plastic.

do my feet distress? should i clean

it tomorrow in

ode?

i will sleep upon it

because i have no

qualms.

because the floor is my

fate,

even though

it claims to have seen me

walk.

The floor begs for you to climb. A pestilent b***h hoping you do, and fall. She love to watch you run. For her poor sense of humor, is the funniest joke of them all.

I enjoyed your words. Thanks for sharing.
