    Only he didn't bite . Jaz had closed her eyes waiting for the doubble pinprick and it never came.

"Jaz i can't do this." he said getting off the bed " I was born this way , and it sucks , but you started human, and i found you a vampire hunter three weeks ago ,becoming a vampire would have been your worst nightmare and i can't let you become this for me , i don't even deserve someone as ...as....as  amazing as you. Say the word and I'll take the blood-bond away and you won't ever see me again." Jaz was in near tears

" Why ? Aubrey , why ? you don't understand ? Do you ? , three weeks ago , i was attacked from behind, and the same vampire that killed my mother and brother nearly turned me i was one second away from becoming a vampire , but then he changed his mind cut my throat nearly hitting my artery and he left me there like a peice of trash! he told me i was worthless and that any man who loved me would be hunted down and killed no matter what he was . When you told me that you loved me you entered imediate danger if you took the blood bond away you'd die , and i would be forced to watch him kill you , but since there's a blood-bond you and i are safe and i don't want any possibility of you dying ,thats why i want you to change me . So we're both safe.''

 " If I change you ,the blood -bond is gone ,and wer're both in deep s**t ."
