An interesting piece; it is heavy with desperation. As I was reading it I sensed the inherent rhythm and recognised it as a song lyric. So many of my own poems are, in fact, song lyrics. Nice work.

Thanks! I play piano, so if I were to do the accompaniment myself it would be piano. But I'm open to just about anything!

Do you really think this could be a real song?
Just a question for anyone who sees this- Is anyone here particularly good at writing music? I'm an ok lyricist, but I barely know how to play piano. I'd love to collaborate!

I think it could! It has enough beautiful words to last as a song :) You can also repeat verses to be extra creative! :) I'm not that good at writing music, but I have listened to tons of pop songs! :D I wish I could really collaborate with you, it would be great! But, I don't have lots of experience with it :(
