Hot

Hot

A Poem by Manda A.

Should have been born

Beneath another name

This red pen

Sets the page aflame

Sanity begins to rot

Amidst these plans unclearly thought

Nary will a wander do

Ponder, bathed in powder blue

Needles prickling my womb

As I retire to my tomb

Manic days and lonely nights

Perspire, require

What daydreams will suffice?

You should do this, you should do that

Shall I even bother wonder

Wherever are you at?

I liked the melodrama of this piece, a day in the life of some of us I guess. Through reading this, I cannot help but feel boring compared to the author.
