Let It Rain

Let It Rain

A Poem by theopenbook
"

during the monsoon when love was in the rain;)

"

Let it rainJ

In the midst of a summer afternoon

When it suddenly starts to rain

Why does my heart beat like?

Like it will never beat againJ

When the first drops fall on my face

I think of you embracing them in your arms

And I wish that it was I instead

Held by you and feeling warmJ

And I wonder if you are thinking about me

As this rain floods my heart

If you are too dancing in this shower

If you too wish that we were never apartJ

And when I am drowned in the downpour

I long to be held by you

To be hugged just so tight and slowly whisper

‘I love you oh! I really do’J

And when it finally ends

I come out of my dream

Which still refuses to leave my eyes

And is tingling on the seams:P

Lovely love and the lovely rain

Beautiful is my love within

Precious heart and my precious soul

Come back and make feel wholeJ

And let me tell you what I want to "

“When it rains I think about you

When it does not you are still on my mind

A single look from you makes me crazy

Or is it- in love I am blindJ
