Something I wrote for my Mum's birthday. <3 :)

You were there for my first walk,
You were there for my first talk.
You kept me from falling,
Always smiling and encouraging.
Maybe we don't get along too well,
We fight and yell.
But at the end of the day,
I know it's all okay.
It's nice you're there,
Real close and near.
You'd push everything away a mile,
Just with that warm smile.
I've never really thanked you,
Or remotely ever tried to.
Although you've sculpted me, part by part.
With all the love capable by your heart.
I don't know what I'd do without you.
I'd never want you to go away.
No matter what, I'd always need you,
To light and guide the way.
To the best person in the world,
