i'm writing to the [imaginary, as of yet] lesbian who will come out to me and whom i will fall in love with. *sigh*

the girl no one can find

the girl no one is looking for

i know you’re there

hidden behind friends

who don’t know who they’re hiding

stuck in a closet

with your hand on the door.

 

you

invisible girl

unseen

shielded from the world

i know you see me,

once upon a time

stuck in my own closet,

now escaped

out

and proud.

 

do you watch me

the way i watch for you?

have you noticed

what could happen

if i find you?

go ahead

open the door

come out of your closet.

this is your chance:

take it.

i promise

i’ll be waiting.

Have you ever wondered that the reason some couples can't seem to find happiness is becayse they are with the wrong gender??? Just a thought. This poem really speaks to me.

this sounds just like what happened with my girlfriend and me =]. except i was the "invisible girl / unseen / shielded from the world" ... and she was the one who found me. I really like this. The flow is beautiful, and it is really applicable to even those who ARENT gay.
