stuck in your closet (open the door)A Poem by The Purple Kazooi'm writing to the [imaginary, as of yet] lesbian who will come out to me and whom i will fall in love with. *sigh*you the girl no one can find
the girl no one is looking for
i know you’re there
hidden behind friends
who don’t know who they’re hiding
stuck in a closet
with your hand on the door.
you
invisible girl
unseen
shielded from the world
i know you see me,
once upon a time
stuck in my own closet,
now escaped
out
and proud.
do you watch me
the way i watch for you?
have you noticed
what could happen
if i find you?
go ahead
open the door
come out of your closet.
this is your chance:
take it.
i promise
i’ll be waiting. © 2008 The Purple KazooAuthor's Note
