Cruel Twist

Cruel Twist

A Poem by THERISA
"

How some people use the disability of others, for their own cruel gain.

"

Tick...

Continues

The reign of

"Toronto the good"

Since the 1860s
...Tock.

Tired and dated motto

Even back then

For those

On the outside

Looking in.

Veneer

To brush Toronto's problems

Away from prying eyes

None

The wiser.

Of the targets

Painted upon people's back

Should they be

Under the age of 65

Needing a cane or walker

Assist walking.

Wrongly believing
A physical disability
Means a mental one
Too.

Licence
Given to them
Part of their birthright
To bully and abuse
Without fear of punishment
People
They considered
Below their own elevated status.

Freaking morons
Consider yourselves
Lucky
Stronger language is not used
Express my true feelings
Towards you
Scumbags.

For you
Rank just above
Decaying matter
In my cosmos.

I like the poem. It is direct and to the point. I like the strong statements. Would keep a audience entertain with these words. A excellent poem.
