A Poem by Yes
"

Yeah, possibly the most positive thing I have ever written... well, good thing at least :)

"
Oh if only I could fly,
Feeling the wind in my face,
Soaring high in the sky,
Leaving this world without a trace,

Living without a dollar to my name.
Above the treetops I’d stay,
Watching others play the game
Of life we will all lose anyway.

All around we hear the siren’s wail,
As a man takes his last breath.
We are enticed by the grisly tale
Of murder and mystery that is death.

That is why I’d love to stay shrouded
Up here in heaven, my sky so clouded.

I liked this piece a LOT better than the last one. It's much fresher and your words are flawless. I really enjoyed this one, especially the third stanza. Great write :)

If only we all could live like we did when we were animals. A careless life has no problems. Good message, good poem.
