Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams

A Poem by theunionisloud
"

Ode to love, ode to the night.

"
what the daylight cannot distinguish, that is what you are
the curve of your face, the faithful moon
when the world falls blind, I see only you
A heartbeat drawn from an abyss, a promise, this
haunting refrain
Sleepless nights, I cling to you
I carry you, my secret

This poem creates a sort of virtual experience. I really like it!

Beautiful....so, are you in love with Satan? Because he never calls back and he never leaves the money on the counter like he says. Try falling in love with Buddha, atleast he never complains.

I find myself wondering whether or not you're writing this to someone or wishing someone wrote it to you. I kind of waver on which I prefer to believe. In the meantime, I've decided that you should expand upon pieces like this, not necessarily making this one longer but instead either developing something abstract and poetic from the same sort of feeling into a greek-style epic, or perhaps instead developing into a narrative of some sort (or even a hybrid of the two). Keep'r up chick.
