Anger

Anger

A Poem by Ioana Georgiana

A scream was heard

Far in the night

Words were spewed out

With the speed of light

He had no shame

She had nothing but fear

He felt like he had no blame

For her eyes which shed a tear

Smack, smack,smack

Slap, slap, slap

With his enormous hand

He made her reddened cheek twack

Her eyes went wide

Up in shock

Then she sighed

As he could only gawk

He apologised, but to no avail

As her voice only proved

How she had finally prevailed

She moved away

The very next day

Wow. This was the most elaborate documentation of a guy smacking his girlfriend that I have ever seen.

This was very vivid, and the simplicity of the wording and the flow works in your favor. This is strong in meaning. Anger is one hell of an enemy to make, for the victim, and twice over for whoever's inflicting the pain itself. Fine write.
