I give an inch,

You give an excuse--

I give a breath,

You give the noose--

I give my last,

You give your worst--

I give the tinder,

You give the torch--

I give my pain,

You give the blade--

I give my weakness,

You give your hate--

I give the best that I can,

But you don’t even give a damn.

Add an "ever" to the second last line, and it would further give the poem power (and help the musicality, too). But the poem on the whole is fantastic. Good flow, strong narrative/message, and an absolute killer ending! Well done! Much enjoyed!
