Take Me Away

Take Me Away

A Poem by Jacob

God, I play the weeping violin to see you.

I kneel and hold my violin close to my heart,

sometimes lying down on the floor.

Shatter my ear drums with your powerful voice.

Searching for you, trying to understand what you are,

where you are, my nights are sleepless.

Come into my vision and cleanse me,

I am confused and now amnesic.

God, trample on my violin, break it into pieces,

strangle me with its strings

if I have erred.

Take me away.

Whoa.
Just.
Whoa.
Fairly short, and really moving. I love how you threw in the Christianity. So, minus four for the short length. Plus two for the moving- ness and God.
