First Day of School

First Day of School

A Poem by thoughtsofforgotten
"

This poem is (hopefully) an accurate description of a feeling we all had, and a situation we all had. I would absolutely love comments and corrections.

"

First Day of School

Let alone to a new beginning

Another year, another inning

Once again

Endless walls challenge consciousness

Carrying heavy backpacks of nervousness

Once again

Frequent greetings passing the hall

Another acquaintance, another call

Once again

Corridors numb, stretches for infinity

My every move, let to publicity

Once again

Like all things. School seem like a bear to dance with. Later in life when work, bills and little free time. We miss the day of school, laughter and horse play. I liked your description of the school. I believe we learn true wisdom when we don't pay attention to the naysayers and enjoy our life and friends. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
