just another day

Another Day

 

I rather sit on the TV and watch the couch

Lie on a newspaper and read the world

 Remain awake and dream away 
Stand  at a bus stop and flag a plane

 train my thoughts,

For another day.

Before night falls

I say good bye

and

close my eyes

When morning calls

I'm not sure about this one but a friend of mine came out with the first line when we were messing with the remote so I wrote around it, input is appreciated thanks

This poem narrates what a man who uses his time well does. I can relate to it very well because I prefer reading newspapers and while on a long ride on a bus I read a book. " I train my thoughts and plan my day..." because Time is a commodity that can never be retrieved.
