Another Day

Another Day

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya
"

just another day

"

Another Day

I rather sit on the TV and watch the couch

Lie on a newspaper and read the world

 Remain awake and dream away
Stand  at a bus stop and flag a plane

 train my thoughts,

For another day.

Before night falls

I say good bye

and

close my eyes

When morning calls

Fun to let your thoughts loose like this one building to the next, like the cars on your train, then your at the caboose.

This poem narrates what a man who uses his time well does. I can relate to it very well because I prefer reading newspapers and while on a long ride on a bus I read a book. " I train my thoughts and plan my day..." because Time is a commodity that can never be retrieved.

It is absolutely brilliant! I smiled the whole time I read it and still thought how profound yur message is. Just wonderful. You and friend should collaborate more. Let the friend do the first line. Your writing around it is bright and refreshing!

The lament of us all in the new world order we watch and listen to our daily spoon feeding from the government.,And a man feels so small in comparison to the corporations that run us
