I tried to picture how it would have been for a black man in early 1900s America being chased by a lynch mob with dogs, guns, and hate...this is what i came up with....words just didn't come....well not any words that were good enough to tell the story, w

I heard the shots call

 

                My heart beating in my hand

                               

                                Waiting for death’s voice
