"Sadness"

I worry about you.

I worry because I know what you’re feeling.

I wish I could help but,

How can I help when I can’t help myself?

You are sad.

No that’s not it.

Or maybe it is?

It’s a huge sadness.

A sadness that devours a person whole.

A sadness that can make the best people the worst to be around.

This “sadness” as i am calling it will ruin some people.

It will take good memories and make them bad.

It will take your friends because you always kill the mood.

It will take your hobbies and aspirations.

How can you focus on a hobby when you’re sad?

You can’t.

It won’t let you.

I know what you’re going through because it is a constant battle of mine.

I can tell you it’ll get better but,

It also gets much worse.

I can tell you to stay strong but,

It’ll break you down.

I can tell you to fight but,

I would have to listen to my own advice now wouldn’t I?

Yes,

I worry about you.

I know what you’re going through.

It’s hell.

I wish I could help.

But,

Like I said,

My sadness won’t let me.

So for now,

I’ll just worry.
