Sorry, You

Sorry, You

A Poem by Tiss Proper

I'm sorry, you.
I cannot drown this feeling.
They all know I've let you down.

Pain is understating.
This cold world,
Laughs at my aging frown.

Long ago, my love,
The youth died;
No heir to the crown.

You are but resonances,
Of luring sadness,
No where to go but down.

Down.
