These moments

These moments

A Poem by tlaner

You told me in that moment and you meant it,

So I felt it,

The thought that sat and kissed my face remembers how you used to taste,

But don’t hide from it,

Don’t run from me,

Walk down this aisle to chase your denial just pouring salt in the wound,

But don’t stop it,

I love it,

Jeweled wintered nights and gossip fights, remember who you are, remember who we are,

In this moment you live me, believe me,

In this moment you sin for me, contain me,

Pinned down butterfly fly wings remember to stop and breath,

Don’t blame it,

Just embrace it,

Tied up photographs of still frames in our minds,

No snapshots,

Just breathing,

These silent thoughts that we were thinking

Caress it,

Confess it,

In this moment you live me, you breathe me,

In this moment you fear me, you hate me

Please throw away these fruitless battles,

Worries that adorn our fate can taste as bitter as yesterday,

Just don’t forget that we lose track and forget to take a glance,

In this moment you live me, you hear me,

In this moment you break me, but you love me.
