warriors of light

a hopeful poem,though dark at the beginning..written in times of despair

Swallow my tears
And bury my fears
That's what you want me to do though you know how hard it is
Because as soon as you're born they make you feel small
By making you believe their lies and keep breaking your heart

Don't claim this world is generous because everyone with eyes  open knows it is cruel
They envy and mob you if you're clever
Though at the same time they despise a fool
How can I know how to act?
How to react?
I can't follow those rules,they are insane
Losing my self control makes me feel stabbed and causes me pain

Everyone hates to fail
But seriously..in this dark world,what's left to gain?
Fame.But it's worthless
If you truely want to be happy
Then you need eternal love
But look above

The stars in the black sky keep bringing light
Just when you want to give up the wind softly whispers in your ear that there's always something worth
For what to fight
Behind each darkness is a hidden light

So come on,open your eyes
Discover the lies
Hold on the truth and hope
You don't need a gun because inside your head there's a brain
If it's well trained this is the strongest weapon you can gain

So stand up now,bring the darkness on its knees
And fight in the name of love and light
This is what will bring you inner peace
All you need to do is to believe
