Life Sentence For Being OwnA Poem by Sierra AWThis poem is more of a spiritual, kind of type, and it is more for those who don't like how the laws are and how the rules are.
When can we legalize the acceptance of self?
For the world only cares about power & wealth. The hunger for success, Hunger for money, Has become society's rules, Luckily the skies are still sunny. Hopeful for peace & Hopeful for equality, Seems so far away, Yet nobody knows they radiate their own beauty, Then all of a sudden everyday has become gray. On the surface we seem the same, But one you dig down you see we are not at all tamed. Big change is risky & can go either way, But sometimes we need to rest upon the bay. Little by little we reach our goals, Or are we becoming more personal with our souls? Only time will tell with some hope & some faith, But maybe we'll meet again when we become a wraith.
