Parents are not supposed to bury their own child.

It just shouldn’t happen that way.

 

Parents are supposed to watch their child grow,

Be successful,

Have a family of their own someday.

 

What went wrong?

 

Was it me?

Was it his father?

Or was it the pressure?

 

We always wanted Alex to succeed.

We told him to always try his best in school.

Always go 100% in sports.

 

We treated Stephanie the same way.

 

Maybe it was too much.

 

Maybe he just couldn’t take it.

 

As a parent,

I have failed.
