If your are pure, honest, loving and unselfish only for the sake of god then is it real?

Without faith they say it is all a waste

A self absorbed delusion

Your soul is displaced

and they come to one conclusion

Repent your sins make haste

 

Purity without faith

Motives selfless at their core

Helping for only others sake

No attempt to tally a good deeds score

Then purity is a waste

 

Honesty without faith

To say what you mean

Truth delivered in haste

No fear of reprisal for lack of esteem

Honesty is then a waste

 

Love without faith

An absence of love embittered

Untainted emotions are faced

Weak substitutes are not even considered

Love must be a waste

 

Unselfishness without faith

To give without condition

Offer yours and not feel chaste

No yearning for recognition

Unselfishness is such a waste

 

If heaven is my motive

Then I care most about me

Every act is egotistically loaded

I am not practicing humility
