Gentle sea

A Poem by Nisreen

A circle of lips
Entwined on a word

Turning the fluttering sky
A darling heart

Blew life into a soul
A bloodstream of company

Curves of bright red
A time of pureness

Pages were not faded
The opposite of lonely

Color to the eye
Freed the mind

The being of none chemical

Hello to you! I am not very fond of free verse poetry but this one really caught my attention. Somehow I grasp what it's trying to say but I cannot explain it, yet. There is some musicality in the verses although limited. The only advice I can give you is: you could experiment with this rhythm/musicality and try to expand it in future poems, but not if it limits your creativity or spontaneity in writing. It could add more resonance in the mind of the reader just as this poem did to mine.
