PapersA Poem by Nisreen
Sorting through
Signing my life away Swimming in an ocean Seeing the sun once again Deep roasted coffee Sat on my table Trees standing through age Birds nested in a small curve Ballrooms filled with guests Taking a chance with money Sorting a life Or so it seems Music played in a theater Soft figures wore worn shoes Markets shouting numbers Fruits flying in air Another warm hug Held the secrets i well kept Next to a dimming Candle light
