broken

broken

A Poem by Victoria

Broken,

I value so much...to others its little...

a humans spine...

beautiful, straight, uncurved,

man would kill for one of those,

instead, damaged, broke, bent,

I was left feeling worthless,

at my lowest of lowes, and that,

that is when I realized, the first time,

not broken, nor was I damaged,

worthless? not in the least bit.

I was just bent.

I agree with the ending. Beauty is what we do and say. A poem to create thoughts to ponder. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
