Maze

Maze

A Poem by Kris Tate

See with the second sight

Flee what it is that waits to fight

Try to see through the fuzz

Of the outside buzz

The change that comes should be from within

But the world will try to turn it to tin

Find the way through the path of this maze

Make your feet move though in a craze

To your love truth must go

And leave this world like so

Through the woods to the road

Your life will find the code

Material possessions flow with the tide

Though they try their best to keep you tied

Kept in the secret heart of your hearts

Is the truth that keeps away all the tarts

They are a force to keep truth at bay

Try as they might they will never know the way
